the ask
The client was running a summer campaign titled “The Great Summer Flavor Debate.” In this campaign, they were having consumers vote on their favorite products or meals. For example, a classic dog vs. a chicago dog or potato salad vs. coleslaw. For this campaign they needed an instacart page and an amazon brand store. That is where we stepped in and created both mobile and desktop versions for each platform.
instacart page
For this instacart page we decided to categorize the products according to the comparisons the brand was highlighting for this campaign. The final layout focused on: classic dog vs. chicago dog, cheeseburger vs. hamburger, brisket vs. pulled pork, and potato salad vs. coleslaw. Under these comparisons, we separated the products into five categories: hot dogs, cheese, ketchup, bbq sauce, and mayo.

amazon brand store
For the amazon brand store, we followed the same formula as the instacart page, but adapted it to the platform’s modules. On the homepage, we showcased the recipes that were being highlighted in the promotion. Each recipe linked to a tab on the store where the user can shop under a specific category. In addition, each recipe included direct links to the products shown in the graphics to increase shopability.
